Vaisala AQT560 Air Quality Transmitter

Measures accurately the main gaseous pollutants, suspended particles and weather parameters

AQT560 is an extremely cost-effective instrument, measuring up to four gaseous pollutants (nitrogen dioxide – NO2, nitrogen monoxide – NO, carbon monoxide – CO and ozone – O3).

Equipped with a laser particle counter designed by Vaisala exclusively for this application, the AQT560 additionally measures the concentration of suspended particulate matter (PM1, PM2.5 and PM10) in the ambient environment. The main parameters conditioning the formation and dispersion of pollutants, relative humidity, air pressure and air temperature are also measured with the proven accuracy of Vaisala technology.

Main Benefits

Flexibility

The Vaisala AQT560 multi-parameter transducer revolutionizes air quality measurement by offering very high value for money, with measurement performance comparable to reference stations.

AQT560 measures the most common gaseous pollutants: nitrogen dioxide (NO2), nitrogen monoxide (NO), carbon monoxide (CO) and ozone (O3).

The AQT560 measures all these plus the particulate matter content (PM1, PM2.5 and PM10) in the ambient air.

Usual Applications

– Urban air quality measurement networks, with high resolution and accuracy,

– Industrial emissions monitoring and emergency monitoring,

– Smart city traffic management,

– Road and tunnel monitoring,

– Mobile measurement systems,

– Smart building automation,

– Air quality research.

Advanced Features at Reasonable Price

The AQT560 multi-parameter transducer’s measurement performance is based on advanced proprietary algorithms that enable affordable ppb (parts per billion) measurement using electrochemical sensors. The algorithms offset the impact of environmental conditions and electrochemical cell aging and eliminate the need for expensive sampling and gas conditioning equipment.
